good morning sun,
when the morning comes
I escaped from the sleep,
the day has begun
and it seems to me the world was made for me
made the whole day for me

Ich bin früh wach, viel früher als üblich,
du liegst noch im Bett, und du schläfst ganz friedlich
hab wohl ne stunde schlaf versäumt
doch ich bin nicht mehr müde, nur ein bisschen verträumt.

ich steh in der Wohnung, leicht überfordert,
weil man sonst keine Zeit aber dafür viel vor hat,
alles straff getimed, weil man noch zum Bus muss,
jede Minute ist heilig, Ausschlafen ist Luxus.

und weil man mich nur schwer ausm Bett kriegt,
gibt's Frühstück auch meistens eher hektisch,
Stuhl und Ecktisch, sind unbenutzt,
höchstens angeguckt, im Laufen Zähne geputzt.

und obwohl's heute noch recht früh im Jahr ist,
erkenn ich Anzeichen eines Frühlingstages
draußen ist's hell, Himmel blau statt grau,
alles ist ruhig, ich spür die Sonne auf der Haut

Ich sehn’ mich nach Sonne, länger als ein Monat
nun weiß ich warum die Bude einen Balkon hat,
ich geh nach draußen, mit nem Glas voll O-Saft
Der Kaffee ist fertig, ich erkenn’s an der Tonart

leicht vermodert, der Holzstuhl im Winter
Rücken an die Wand, Füße an das Geländer,
Ich nehm' ein Schluck, alles in orange getaucht
die Augen gehen zu, Herz und Lunge gehen auf

das Radio ist aus, belastet doch nur
mit Werbung und Staus, und das vor acht Uhr
es zwitschern die Vögel, nicht der von twitter,
Kaffee schmeckt gut, Koffein jedoch bitter

ich weiß nicht wieso, es ist besinnlich
ich sprech’ kein Wort, ich find grad dass klingt nicht.
ich gehe in mich, die Sonne gibt mir kraft
es scheint der Moment ist für mich gemacht.
